Biography

Friedrich received his Vordiplom (BS) from the Eberhard Karls Universität in Tübingen, Germany and holds a Dr. rer. nat. (Ph.D.) from the Friedrich-Wilhelms Universität Bonn, Germany. He was awarded a fellowship from the Alexander-von-Humboldt Foundation to conduct post-doctoral research at Duke University (Durham, NC). He joined the University of òòò½ÎÑÊÓƵ in 2011.

Starting with the Fall term 2015, Friedrich will offer a course in medicinal chemistry. This course will cover basic concepts of pharmaceutical research, then focus on the development of medications for the treatment of addiction.
